It’s calm before the storm, they say

When making changes on your life, most of the results are not seen straight overnight. Or at least the long term effects are not, and that can be a mindf*ck  more or less, if lacking the patience. I was like that, being always in a hurry that expecting things to change overnight  – just because I wanted something so bad that I thought I would not have time to wait.  The efforts you make really do matter, and it is important to realize that especially when in doubt. It is normal to doubt the process when you feel that you are stuck and the result you aimed for are not manifesting as soon as you hoped them to do so. Small efforts daily made will make the change, and a lot can happen, for example, just in 6months.

But you need to be easy on yourself on this. When you have been giving your best, on the end you might fee empty. Like in need to rebuild yourself again.

”What now” has been on my mind several times, more or less, and I have had those few moments where I have been finding myself staring the wall (or the roof) and thinking about the on going process. And having the doubt, if all the efforts made really do make the change.

Reminder (for me also); They do. The stillness after making a break through or taking the big step is normal, and also neseccary, as you need to have the time to recover but also sink everything in on what has recently been happening. All the decisions and efforts made will pay off, all you need to do is keep on going, but at this very moment, not like full speed (towards the wall), more like slowly but steadily, so you are able to make the adjustments needed towards every next steps to keep on going further.

For me, this meant to took a further notice on how I was recovering from the change made, both  mentally but also physically. When intensive time period comes to an end, it can be overwhelming also and you might need even more rest than before. And it is crucial to let yourself to have that – you can’t keep on the engine running with empty fuel tank. When you just keep on going, it is easy to be blind for the speed. And a lot can happen in a few weeks.

Also the time when you feel like you are in middle of the change, done the effort needed so far, its at the same time the time, that you can use to do what you can on that exact moment. Train for deepening your skills, trying new things,  letting your creative side roam more freely and without limits. What skills did I notice that I need to train more? Or what other notices did you make during the ”hustle time”.

At the same time, take the advance of the time you have no to also relax, maybe a bit more on that moment than before, and get more inspired on that way. Taking the time for yourself and basically mentally boosting yourself to be ready when there is next task to sign onto.

Actually, the time between efforts made and the result shown on a day light is the best time really reflect on how far have you come and what have you been learning so far. With every new person and situation coming into your life, you can reflect on the aspects that you already do posses and by doing that you can also but them into working for yourself, but also, you can now easily spot what traits really need to go.

Challenging yourself is the best thing to do, as you do take the step towards new skills and unknown traits. Feeling like living the same moments over and over, always ending up onto same kind of situations? I strongly believe, that we are meant to face the same kind of situations and type of persons as long we are not learning the lesson that type of personality/situation is meant to teach you. Things do variate and may vary depending on what you are having now in your life, so on my point of you, it its really important to know what have you been already overcome, what you are facing now and what are the things you are heading towards to.

Im aiming for progress, and I know for sure what I want, but I still keep my mind curious on what can I learn more – still keeping the goal clear. I know where I’m heading, and even tho I might loose the track time to time, Im taking notes on what was the reason behind the missteps. Did I listen my intuition and if not, why so? Even the salt looks like sugar, so mistakes can happen, but if you learn from that, you gain more knowledge.
