Each and every cell in our body has been replaced every 7years, yet we tempt to hold on things way past that mentally. If our body doesn’t anymore have cell that was around that time, so why would we still our brains put any though on to the things in the past? Especially, as we humans tend to hold on into more to he negative sides than the good ones, and that is what is keeping us still. If not directly stopping, then at least slowing down significally us from the progress
And I’m especially meaning now the negative memories, things that we even have had any power to put into, no change of changing things. Human mind is that tricky, that we easily tend to hold on to the grudge, twelling in those negative moments, that our brain brings up those kind of things from the past more easily and often than the good things. We really need to make the effort to make our mind thinking all the good things that we have experienced.
That is why I have been many times before too mention to remember to value those habits and trades that you have already learned and practiced, as it is so easy to start slipping even from nice things when we are feeling little bit off and tired. For those kind of days/moments, we should have few alternatives. For example, I felt on the beginning of the week a little bit off, lack of sleep and few days in a row socializing like no other made sure that even tho I had been enjoying every single moment fully hearted, my introvert side was now in need for recharging. But so was my physical side too, so I decided to be gentle with myself and taking few extra days from my loved gym sessions. Taking it easy and listening to my body as well as I could.

And what comes to the memories from the past, I took a little memory line onto the time where I felt myself, things were molding into my favor with ease and I stayed grounded, to the things that I used to do when feeling more or less overwhelmed. From our old habits we can found the base habits of ours, and taking a look back you can see better and from different perspective what did work and what did not.
This kind of approach has helping me during these couple of week to really spot on where I am with myself now, and what good old things I can still add into my current life to ensure that ride of life stays steady and course correct.
Through out our life, our circumstances and life situations will be changing, and not every habit will be suitable for every stage of your life, so sometimes is actually wise to look back to see what did work in a similar situation or so in the past. Or even better, if earlier the thing you have recently been struggling with, has been avoided before, how did you do it then and could you perform the same act again this time – if not fully, then maybe partly?
Our brains may be having the habit to remind effortlessly and without asking about all the negative things that has happen, that is as those moments have been alarming so our mind keeps us reminded about those. But as well as we do remember the negative sides, we can also train our mind to dig deeper into good things, that have been helping us before too.
That’s the magic of our mind.
