Past month has been going by on heavy self reflection, studying on my own patterns, seeking more knowledge from my path (and past) but also gaining new perspectives. Diving into literature, gaining new information regarding of pattern of behavior, mental stages and focusing on the things that matter, in long term perspective but also on this very moment.
What is needed to change now, and what comes along with the time.
The end of the month makes it easy to reflect onto how the changes made have been already been affecting but also how much the new level of understanding myself has been making a difference, already in a short time period. This has been beneficial and welcome, of course change happens all the time, within us and around us, in one direction or another, but this month it is the awareness of the steps I have taken that has played the decisive role. The understanding of oneself and one’s own actions, the natural curiosity about one’s own development, both now and in the course of time, has ensured that the wheels turn and development is a conscious continuation, not just a momentary pause. It feels as if the idea has slipped into the right track, with the right gear. I’m moving at the pace I should be, I’m right where I should be. I feel like it’s easier to breathe, my steps are lighter, smoother. My mind is gentler.
When everyday life has become gentler, more understanding of oneself, my energy has begun to find a different way of being.
Of course, in the beginning the things around the change weren’t so noticeable, the steps were heavier at the times. However, those heavier feeling moments showed me the points and things that needed to change in order to harness more effective solutions. Those solutions have brought inner peace and the new knowledge gained has brought understanding, which in turn has brought better structure and a more energetic pace to everyday life, including much-needed sparks of inspiration.
Of course, the changes had already begun before the end of last year, but I let the water flow in the river, taking what I could still take with me but leaving behind what belonged to the past. For me, the turn of the year was a welcome, expected one. A definitive wrapping up of the year, the last dusts of it were being dusted off this month. And safe to say, clearly more conscious way.

There are certain common beliefs that are passed down from generation to generation, such as that if you nap after a certain time, you will no longer sleep at night, or that breakfast is supposed to be at time x.
Keeping in mind and remembering that we are all individuals; what works for one person may not work for another. You may have a naturally different rhythm from your own family member, neihgbour (you name it..), and it is therefore important to see yourself as a whole person in order to find the patterns that work best for you – both in thought and in practice.
But especially, it is good to be aware of why one thing works and another doesn’t, and to make desirable changes in those things to find the balance that will guarantee your health, life and career development.
The better you understand your own development, your needs and the root causes of the changes, the easier it is to avoid possible missteps and miscalculations when it comes to the preparation of plans and their concrete implementation when exporting.
As it is all about small changes at the time to make sure the progress will be evitable and you will be staying on track, these are the following steps:
- choose what is the most crucial thing that you want to start with
- think through what has led you into this situation that you want to change (root cause)
- find the possible solutions for this current subject of change
- picking up the most suitable options for yourself from the solutions
- adapting them into your daily routines
After the first step taken and changes adapted successfully, take a look what is the next thing that is in need to be changed and repeat.
Be the change, do the change, but with the terms that would suit you the best.
