You most likely are willing to stay on the non-working situation ( like apartment/work/relationship) just because it’s familiar. Easy. Safe.
But at the same time, it is keeping you ”on hold” – you are on hold on the phone line of life and waiting for.. something. And that something will not ever happen, if you don’t do the first move. Even the tiniest move made can lead to something better and bigger, start of the domino effect of change.
I have found myself often on that pattern, that really I’m craving things around me to change, but as change can be sometimes, if not almost always, uncomfortable, it feels (on that moment) nicer to just let things be as they are. No action on what so ever. Even when feeling unhappy on the way your life is rolling right now. Mind is tricky on that way, on the biggest challenge on that moment is to see beyond the fear on change, which is keeping you still. And unhappy.
You get use things to be how they are, numbing you thoughts and feelings to settle instead of taking the action. But you can also train your mind to follow upon new thinking pattern and take more bravely actions towards the much needed changes towards better life quality. Which, by the way, is different for us all, as we do have different goals and admires. Sometimes all you need for do the leap of fate, is just trust on yourself, sometimes you also may need to invest some money and time. But trust me, every penny that you invest to get closer to your dreams and goals will come back to you – in one way or another.
The older I have get, the more I have been paying attention the quality of my over all daily life, the work, the free time. For me the atmosphere is everything, even on vacations – I live for the detailed environment, so why not invest on spending time on surrounding that will fullfill my sences. Paradise like environment works for me as a boost for to stay inspired while soothing my mind, no matter what kind of tasks I’m currently on. Boosted inspiration feeds the focus and actions.
As you may have a steady income, but the work that helps you to pay the bills is not giving you nothing else in return and you keep coming back home day after day being really exhausted, unhappy and waking up with the lack of motivation, the safety from the paycheck will not in long run be enough as we do spend most of the time being awake at work. So do you want to be spending one third of your day doing something that is not making you happy, even tho it is at the moment securing your financial state? For example I have noticed that I tend to spend money more when unhappy, and thats not helping either in a long run. So next choice would you want to be paid for doing something you actually do enjoy and you are waking up happy and really looking for to get back on your work place?
The choice is yours.

I’ve also been on the situations and workplaces and doing to work that I did love and I enjoyed my being and doing, but as always in life, the change can be necessary also on that state of your life, as life can be through you on middle of change to grow – both in professional but also in personal way. As you dream big, you need to be mentally prepared that things do need to change during every step on the way towards your dreams, and for that reason, it is really important to stay present on your current life, appreciating every moment.
To be honest, I have been scared in front of big changes, like really scared. But did I let that feeling to stop me? No, I didn’t. Change is scary, especially, when you are heading towards totally new circumstances, but if you would be later on regretting that you didn’t take this or that change, it is worth it of all. The more time you spend on holding your foot on the break, the more you more likely do sabotage yourself what comes to making the change. Of course, weighting all the options and thinking through things before the action is wise, but more or less the fear can keep you on not to take the first step.
No one masters the new upcoming tasks perfectly, with or without preparations, and best way to learn is really do jut start to do, you will learn master the needed skill while just going for your goal, dream and/or desire. The struggle on your head can be either on hell of a hurricane or or just few bigger waves, it depends on how you cope with things on overall. Even tho doubts might try to get on me, I still have more faith on my work/dremas/goals, that Im really doing my best at the moment and that will get me further, as I’m still being humble and remembering that I’m never ready, there is always new tasks to master and skills to learn.

While reaching towards the next step your mind will do down spins, doubts will peek up trying to get the best of you and you can become time to time anxious as hell. But the thing that really counts, is trust towards the progress – it is normal to have doubt, it helps you to keep your feet on the ground while your head can be on the clouds. Doubt also can help you spot the things that might distract your progress so it is easier to spot the things that might be needing attention later on. The key is not letting nay-sayers stop you, even if they are in between your ears. Use the doubts as a clearing stepping stones, as you keep having the crystal clear goal on your mind.
Still having doubts? Still thinking all the aspect that can go frong? Use the same amount energy and time on towards the things that you are gonna be nailing. And puff! Doubts are getting smaller.
Your energy flows where you thoughts go, so why not focus onto what will work out.
