Recharge yourself as much you do recharge your phone

We tend to ask from others how they have been, but how many of us tend to ask the same question from ourselfs?

Two weeks ago I took a much needed break, from everything. Getaway, to a new enviroment to recharge and to hear thoughts of my own – All by myself, taking time for myself and only to myself. No one needing nothing from me, and if necessary, I would be even putting my phone to on a airplane mode.

The weather were not totally on my side what comes to my little trip so no running to the beach as a first thing on the morning. Making me totally stop for a while, just laying in middle the big comfy bed and all wrappep up to the blankets. But as afterwards it was better this way, as I tend to be the one that when the sun is up, I’m more or less on the go.

As first morning in Estepona started with the rain and after illegally well slept night, I were taking all advance of the situation, as for me the sound of rain is like lullaby for me. The pillow kept calling my name and I for sure didnt make any effort to resist it, having like the slowliest morning ever. In the end, my plan was to relax and rest, so if this is the way, so be it. As the original plans on laying on the beach under the sun were cancelled, I were still keeping my training session and exploring plans on the schedule for that day. Some habits stick with you, holiday or not. For me, doing your exercises or mine belongs to my vacation mood.

One thing is for sure, I like my holidays as being the active ones, but still balanced with the rest. As my body works, my mind is on ease and when my body is on ease, my mind works. The perfect balance to work with.

Taking distance to my current everyday life and wondering around on the streets of totally new city atmosphere, I found myself wondering about how many new beginnings do you need in life. I would not say that there would be right amount to be as I shortly came on conclusion that there is no right answer to that question but for sure I know that as many as many as needed, maybe not so radical ones always. But you get the idea. To upgrade or have a fresh start, thats the question. And maybe doing the both – because why not. In the end it all depends on the situation you are currently in.

Can you make the change or are you the change itself?

As I have been starting from the zero, not once but twice, because of that I were told to be a bold woman – because in cultures like in here Spain its not normal to just took off to another country and to do it all alone. For me, it was quite natural thing to do, as the current situation where I were living in was not serving me in any way so for me it was more scarier to continue to have the things stay as they were at the time – I was having a feeling that I were going nowhere with my life, I felt stuck on all levels on my life. Like a bird in a cage. Like I have mentioned few times already, the rehealsal round on living abroad was in Zakynthos, so next move was more easy as my heart screamed for the change. And also had the taste of that new way of life in a different enviroment. You can even create a totally new self among the mind set or while aiming for it. Freedom to be what ever you desire in totally new place.

When travelling alone, you are able more fully to put into implement yourself as you can be in a way more open to new exprecienses and also you can follow your own interests without having to take on note someone elses needs or so. You can do what ever you want or be choosing to do nothing at all. Go as you like, you have the total freedom and all the possibilities on your hands. For me, thats the luxury.

To just through  myself to go with the flow, without planning that much, as taking the direction but letting the things go on their own weight, and  just enjoying the ride. You never know what new things there is in the store for you, so you might as well keep your mind open and plans flexible. The main rule is; if it makes you happy, por que no (why not)?

Of course shared joy and experiences are multiplyed, but there is a special magic on doing things by yourself. It took me time and courage to just through myself onto trusting myself and start to go and do as I feel. In everyday life  but also in a vacation mode. And as I were starting to do more so, I were realizing how much I really do need it, the time alone. And how much I really, really enjoyed to do so. Loading myself, finding a new aspects on self.

The more you do by yourself, the more you discover how capable you really are. Travelling alone mind seem to be scary, but its one of the eye-opening things. Everyone should try this, even just once.

And the more you discover, the more you want to learn about yourself. That happened to me, I got hooked on the learning process and to finding new ways to make myself work with the things I already do posses and how to make things evaluate themselfs, working more on my favor. And also, to learn on the new ways, which would be making my life better when adapted to it.Thats why I also prefer time to time go, do and travel by myself, as new enviroment also resets the brain when you are not stuck on your everyday life and surroundings.

Vacations are for having fun and relaxing, but I also prefer to reflect things while being off duty. When you are more relaxed minset and in a so called neutral enviroment without responsibilities, I think your mind works much more clearer.  Pushing myself to adapt new ways of thinking and learning. New situations also make you more or less challenge yourself. And that is for me, a pleasure. Why to regress, when with same effort you can evaluate yourself.

Distance makes wonders. As you are able to keep mirroring things more, you also take more experiences with you, the complex of giving and taking. Travelling is like a detox shot for your mind.

Recharching, learning, evolving.
